LC 106 Transformational Coaching and Neuroscience (12 weeks, 2.5 hours per session 27 hours total)
This course emphasizes working with the Insight Transformation model employing different transformational coaching tools for different domains within the model. Within the Inspired Mind domain focus will be on creating meaning, finding life purpose, and defining and helping clients use the sacred within (as defined by them). This will include neuroscience applications, mindfulness, deepening intuition, meditation, visualization and a spiritual approach using information from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. For the Focused Mind domain, information about personal change stages, neuroscience, memory and attention, and reinforcing operating within the Empowered Self will be presented. For the Emotion domain, basic hypnosis and trauma reducing methods will deal with deeply embedded emotional and sensory barriers to forward progress. Within the Subtle Energy Domain, EFT and other energy releasing methods will be considered. Finally, community building techniques for the life context domain will be considered.
Pre-requisite: training in counseling or life coaching.
